Our paper on “Real-time Perception meets Reactive Motion Generation” was considered for the 2018 Amazon Robotics Best Paper Awards in Manipulation. Amazon Robotics selected our paper as one of three Finalists for Best Systems Paper. They received so many high quality submissions and wanted to acknowledge your paper as one of the best.
The paper with the title “Real-time Perception meets Reactive Motion Generation”, which addresses the challenging problem of robotic grasping and manipulation in a dynamic environment and under uncertainty, was considered for the 2018 Amazon Robotics Best Paper Awards in Manipulation. While the publication did not win the award, it was selected as one of three finalists for Best Systems Paper and still won prize money. Amazon´s committee decided to add this Finalist commendation because they received so many high quality submissions and wanted to acknowledge the paper as one of the best. Watch the video where you can see the performance of a robotic manipulation system that continuously consumes visual feedback and feeds it to reactive motion generation.
